TJAT is a theologically conservative journal that at the same time wishes to publish papers that are objective in nature. Academic rigor and spiritual commitment are not opposed to each other, but these can be found in a paper only if the writers are willing to follow high standards of research and communication.
We are looking for writers who can send us papers that are accurate, are geared to a specific purpose such as doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction in righteousness, or the defense of the Christian faith.
Short articles dealing with subjects related to discoveries and breakthroughs, or a correction or question, that dot not require a larger writeup are always welcome. Longer articles that expound a subject in detail are also welcome. They can be 5000 words or more and there is no restriction on the maximum length. For practical reasons such articles should be submitted in the form of a series. These may deal with practical, theological, apologetics, or any subject that would help Christians.
We are particularly delighted with Review-papers that take a comprehensive look at what has happened in a give field over the last decades, or even centuries. Since research progresses piecemeal, and since the development of a subject might go through fits and starts, most people do not get a comprehensive picture of developments. Review Papers fill the gap by bringing it all into one place.
TJAT welcomes even articles that take a critical look at topics that have been cherished for long, provided such critique is objective, documented, and written in a sprit of inquiry. We believe that many subjects in theology and apologetics need a second look as they are based more upon human imagination and less upon biblical or objective data. We will look for documentation and detailed exposition in such articles.
If you find a paper published elsewhere that you think should be available to a wider audience, contact our Acquisition Editor and he will do the rest.
Come and join the TJAT team to make it the most sought after Theology/Apologetics journal on the net.
