Dear Tom,
Thanks for contacting me while contemplating applying for admission to Trinity School. I have been extremely blessed by my studies so far with this school. When I literary stumbled on Trinity school of Apologetics and Theology, only to discover that the brief description in the search engine, was a gross understatement of what is on offer, I danced around my room in happiness and my wife asked if I had won the lottery, my reply was, it is better than that.
I was pretty sure, I knew a lot about life, the Bible and the Christian journey, of the last 2000 years. However, the vast array of courses and subjects on offer, plus the well stocked resource sites which they make available, made me very humble indeed. The courses are so very well researched and professionally put together, that I haven't found any better text on the market or on the web. In my research for additional information which I do frequently, to get additional materials, I inevitably feel disappointed by my findings and revert to the Calvin resource sites for supporting information. I feel better informed and armed in the areas I have covered so far that my confidence to hold my own against anybody anywhere in the areas I have covered, is the best hoped for.
As far as accepting the degree I am doing is concerned, I live in London England, the most academically conservative country in the world, because they feel they invented education, yet the people I have spoken to so far, initially asked if the institution was accredited and my reply was, yes it is, but you do need to visit the site and find out what I am doing. One senior Pastor of a large congregation called and asked me if I felt I was equal to the task, because in his opinion, it is a comprehensive and difficult syllabus to complete. I laughed and answered, the Lord will give me the strength to complete it. Most people I have written to or talked to, about the course, are full of praise for this University. I graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science, the third best University in the United Kingdom. One of my former lecturers whom I spoke to, examined the site and said he was very impressed with Calvin's uncompromising stand on the Bible plus the content and quality of their courses.
I can tell you Tom, that once I have completed this programme successfully, I will have no problem securing a job with any organisation anywhere in the world that still interested and teaching the truth about the Bible and Christianity.
I thank God for leading me to this programme and I pray that he should give me the strength to complete it. I know that on completion, I will be one of the most informed Christians living and this will enable me to fulfil Matthew 28:19-20, the great commission.
God bless you Tom and do write to me if you want to know anything else and I hope you will be blessed by this institution, whose principles are founded on: Sola Scriptura (Bible alone), Sola Fide (Faith alone), Sola Gratia (Grace alone), Solus Christus(Christ alone), as much I have been.
