Extension of Time, Award Of Degree, Etc
Extension of Time: All CRG related courses have a 2 years limit. If students schedule their time-table from the beginning of the course, they can complete the courses within this time. However, if they need more time, they can extend the period for a maximum of 3 years (making a total of five years) by paying a nominal renewal charge per year.
- The renewal-charge is liable to change from time to time, so the students should check for the current renewal-charge from the website of the respective schools or the Mentor.
- They should then contact their Mentor and ask for an extension ranging from one to three years. In the same email they should also explain the reason why they could not complete the course within the specified period.
- The Mentor will discuss the case with the Academic council and will inform the decision to the student who will then have to pay the Renewal fees.
- The maximum period for which Renewal is available in yearly or one-time renewal is permitted is 3 years.
- A student who fails to complete his study in a total of five years [which is computed as two years plus renewal] will have to reapply for admission. He will have to pay half of the prevailing Registration fees on getting Readmission.
Award of Degree: Students are awarded the degree after they complete the studies and fulfill the protocol. This includes the following:
- Photocopies of all degrees, transcripts, and other documents which are essential for admission to the degree program with the CRG school should have been sent to the office. This is important for those students who are given a conditional admission, subject to the production of certain documents before graduation.
- All academic work related to text-based, audio, and video courses should be complete, and the grades should meet the common eligibility criteria.
- The Thesis should be approved by at least 2 out of 3 examiners.
- If the Thesis has been sent back for revision, then the revised thesis should be approved by the examiner.
- If the student was asked to rewrite the thesis, the new work should be approved by 2 out of 3 examiners.
- All fees and fines should be fully paid.
- If the student has requested any special document such as the Notarized letter on Stamp Paper about CRG accreditation, or any additional document, the required fees should be paid.
- Under no circumstance will a degree be issued if the academic work and the protocol have not been fulfilled.
- While all CRG schools try to send all official documents as quickly as possible, it would not be possible to expedite the procedure beyond a limit.
- Students should not schedule an interview or anything of that sort based upon a CRG related degree before they receive the papers in their hand.
- All academic procedure takes time. For example, the assessment of the Thesis takes anywhere from 1 to 3 months, and this cannot be expedited to suit the convenience or an interview or appointment of the student.
- While all CRG schoolstry their best to the student-friendly, this does not automatically mean that the institutional time-table can be bent to suit the students.
- Please see to it that all academic requirements and protocols have been fulfilled, and please expect to receive the final papers according to the guidelines mentioned above.
