| Overview: | PGDA is our most basic course. It aims at equipping highly motivated Christians interested in the art of defending the Christian Faith. All higher level courses include the material of this course, as it lays the foundation of the unique Apologetic strategy developed by Calvin. The emphasis here is upon mastering the "10 tools of Apologetics" pioneered by scholars at Calvin Research Group. |

| Syllabus
Part I:
In the right-hand section, Topic-group are shown in red and topics within that section in black. The number of topics within a given section keep changing in keeping with Trinity policy of revising and upgrading the courses. Thus at times a topic might be missing and couple of extra topics might find their way into each section. We supply all this text material FREE. The text supplied to you might ranging in length from 20 to 500 pages each topic. Each topic is considered a "module" and several modules make up a Topic-group.

| Syllabus Part II: | The student will have to opt for three additional Topic-groups from the sections related to Apologetic Theology, Issues, or Polemics. |

In addition to syllabus 1 and 2, the student will have to study around 40 audio lectures on Apologetics. These are provided on CDs, MP3 format |
| Practical Work: | The student will have to develop one simple self-study course on biblical and theological topics, similar to what is seen at Apologetics Courses |
| Thesis: | 50 pages, double spaced thesis in a selected area of Apologetics, Polemics, or Apologetic Hermeneutics, or Text-based study in lieu of it |
| Text In Lieu Of Thesis: | Text-based study in lieu of the thesis is avilaable. You will have to study for 5 additional credit hours instead of writing a thesis. |
