Additions:
If you feel that it is important for you to get our email to you, then see that you add calvin_delete@satyam.net.in and drjcp_delete@hotpop.com to your filter. [Remove '_delete' from this to get our correct ID] All filtering programs and serviced provide you the facility to manually add email IDs to the "white list" or "allowed list"

- My incoming mail is protected by a spam-guard software. When you send your first mail to me, it will ask you to click and verify yourself. Is that ok? That is NOT ok with us. Trinity office receives any number of such requests every day, and among hundreds of mail transactions every day we cannot determine which one of them is genuine and which one of them is a ploy to add our email to their list. Thus we will NOT click on any email link that asks us to verify ourselves.

About Sending Emails To Trinity
- I found an excellent article and picture on the net. Can I send it to you? We appreciate the fact that our students are all very net-savvy and spot things which others might not have seen. We also appreciate that they wish everyone in the Trinity office to have a look at it. However, please note the following things about it:
- People in the Trinity office are equally net savvy, and in all probability they might have already seen that article or picture. Do not send it to us unless it is a matter of life and death.
- We receive hundreds of email a day, so we are not excited when you send us a forward of a forward of a forwarded message. Do not send to us if you cannot take the pain of retrieving the original message. If you feel you cannot waste five minutes for that, it is presumptuous on your part to think that the overworked volunteers in the Trinity office would (or should) do that.
- Do not send us virus alerts, mass-circulated appeals about the 11-year old girl who wants you to send the letter to all your contacts as it might alleviate her cancer (or whatever). Such letters are hoaxes, meant for harvesting email ids.
- Do not send us the free offer of laptop from Microsoft, MP3 player from a company, or such free stuff. These are hoax mails.
- Of course, if you come across a website, a book, a CD, or a product about which you feel we should know, send us a direct email and tell what it is.
We take disciplinary action against all students who "forward" any kind of spam mail to the office or to their Mentors. If a topic is worth knowing, send us a direct email, and not forwards.
