Trinity Graduate School Of Apologetics And Theology
ThD: Doctor Of Theology
Overview: ThD is a course with greater depth and breadth than the previous courses. It is meant for those who take up senior positions in Apologetics, Creationism, Communication, Theology, Counseling, and Polemics-related organizations.

Also, those completing this course are adequately equipped to teach Christian Apologetics, Theology, Counseling, etc. in Seminary level courses. Students completing this course are able to work independently in these fields as researchers, writers, and trainers. 

Qualification: M. Th. or M.Div. Those having only M.Div qualification will have to take up additional work. People having no theological qualification can apply if they have doctoral degree in any secular subject. People with at least two secular masters degrees can also apply for this course. Those having a single secular masters degree can be accepted if they do additional work with Trinity.

Each student would have to write a thesis and defend a given subject in Apologetics, Polemics, or Hermeneutics, in addition to fulfilling the other course requirements. 

Duration:  Maximum 2 years, Can Be Renewed for 3 More Years
Syllabus Part I:

In the right-hand section, Topic-group are shown in red and topics within that section in black. The number of topics within a given section keep changing in keeping with Trinity policy of revising and upgrading the courses. Thus at times a topic might be missing and couple of extra topics might find their way into each section.

We supply all this text material FREE. The text supplied to you might ranging in length from 20 to 500 pages each topic. Each topic is considered a "module" and several modules make up a Topic-group.

Foundations 2: Introductory studies on Abortion, Baptism, Bible Code Claims And Reality, Church Discipline, Church Leadership, Cloning, Genetic Engineering, Christian Counseling, Creationism, Doctrines Of Election, Eternal Security, Healing, Inerrancy of the Bible, The King James Version Controversy, The Lord's Supper, Marriage and Divorce, Moral and Non-Moral Issues, Parachurch agencies, Prophecy, Repentance, Spiritual Warfare, Christian's Obligation to the Law, Church and Government, Church and Politics, The Gift of Tongues, The Unreached, The Will of God, Women's Roles in the Church 

Apologetics 1: Introduction To Christian Apologetics, Presuppositions of Christian Apologetics, Historical Apologetics, Reliability of The Canon,  Revelation And The Pagans [Each topic here represents a textbook supplied by us]

Apologetics 4:  Errors of Interpretation, Bible Difficulties, Scientific Truth, Propaganda Techniques, Mind Manipulation, Resisting Mind Manipulation, Logic And Fallacies, Debating Techniques, Countering Debating Techniques, Leading Questions

Apologetics 6A: God's Existence, Analysis of Open Theism 1, Analysis of Open Theism 2, Faith And Reason, Cloning, Bible And Science, Bible And Science 2, Bible And Science 3, Origin Of Coal And Oil, Archeology And Bible I, Origin Of Religions

Theology 1: Intro Systematic Theology, Covenants I, Christology I,  Incarnation, Sin: A Theological Study I, Trinity I, Atonement, God: Attributes I, Theology Proper Intro, Theology Proper, Heresies & Schisms In Early Church

Theology 2 [Intermediate]: New Testament Church I, Eschatology I,  Great Tribulation I, Atonement II , Justification By Faith, Calvinism, Pneumatology, Satan: Origin, Activities, Charismatic Movement  

Bible I [Introduction]: Inspiration: Doctrine Of I, OT Survey, NT Survey, New Testament Introduction I, Major Biblical Doctrines [Intro], Genesis,  Daniel, Hosea

Readings: The above sections will have plenty of  additional reading prescribed. This material is provided on the Textbook CD sent to students

Syllabus Part II: The student will have to opt for three additional Topic-groups from the sections related to Apologetic Theology, Issues, or Polemics.
Syllabus Part III:

We will supply all these CDs free of cost

In addition to syllabus 1 and 2, the student will have to study a set of 40 audio lectures on Apologetics, 40 on Theology, and 40 on Practical Issues. These are provided on CDs, MP3 format
Practical Work: The student will have to develop three advanced self-study courses on biblical and theological topics, similar to what is seen at ApologeticsCourses
Thesis: 180 pages, double spaced thesis in a selected area of Apologetics, Polemics, Christian Ministry, or 18 study Credit Hours of Text-based study in lieu of Thesis

Additional topics [both text as well as audio] will have to be studied, based upon whether the student joins after theological studies, or secular studies. The Academic Council determines the additional subjects based upon a students qualification

Those who have already studied the above-mentioned modules as part of another degree program will be required to study the corresponding alternate modules. For example, for them instead of Apologetics 1, 4 and 6A we might require a study of Apologetics 2, 3, 5 etc. The actual modules are decided either by the Academic Council or by your Mentors.

Also, they will be sent alternate audio CDs in Apologetics, Bible, Theology, etc. Kindly notice that there is more than one Audio CD in a given series, such as Apologetics, Counseling, Issues,  or Bible.
