Evangelizing Students, Lesson 009

Sharing The Gospel Free Course, Lesson 009
Trinity Graduate School, Evangelism Course

Conclusion

It is the intent of these nine lessons to give instruction on how best to share the Gospel with students. Of course, much of this is transferable to other people as well. It can and should be used, and adjusted accordingly.

There are many excellent tools and resources available on how to share the Gospel. It is not as important which tools are used, although certainly some are better or more relevant than others. What is important is that we seek to build God’s kingdom here on Earth by communicating the truth about a relationship with Jesus to as many people as possible.

The only way to get better at sharing the Gospel is to do it. As such, the conclusion of this lesson will require you to speak to several students about the Gospel, and write about your findings and experiences. In this way, you will learn how to assimilate the information given, as well as learn where and how to adjust and improve your communication skills.

  3. Matthew 18:19-20 (New International Version)

    1.

19″Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. 20For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.”
    New International Version (NIV)

Revelation 3:20 – “Behold! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him.” Ask them what ‘door’ is being referred to. Of course it is the door to their life. Ask them what, according to this passage, they must do to have Christ come in to their life. Simply put, they must ‘open the door’ to him, or ask him to come in

Thy need to invite Christ in to their heart and lifes.

Immediately show them Hebrews 13:5 – “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you”. Jesus promises us that he is with us always, even if we don’t feel it.
