Bible courses by mail used to be the rage almost up to AD 2000. Many people worldwide were interested in studying bible and theology, but were unable to join a regular institution. Thus they relied upon free bible and theology courses by mail. Such correspondence courses were many. They ranged from simple courses that explained up to bachelors, masters, and even doctoral programs in theology.
In 1990 we started offering free theology courses at certificate level by post. These free bible correspondence courses became highly popular with students spread all over. However, since the internet was not yet here, the execution of our vision remained limited. Then in 1996 it was announced that the net would be widely available in India, and that immediately opened a new chapter in our theological training ministry.
The moment the net became available widely, we realized free theology degree online is not a distinct possibility and that our dream can now be fulfilled. Soon we gathered a number of like-minded people from around the world and launched Trinity School (TGSAT, www.TrinityTheology.org). Gradually we became the topmost and the best distance theology school to offer free bachelors, masters and doctoral programs in theology.
I really appreciate this school and all the hard working employees. This school has allowed for a dream of mine to come true. I searched for roughly two years for a school I could afford.
