Why Do We Offer Free Theology Courses
Trinity School has been offering these free theology and bible courses via distance education now for more than four decades. We used printed lessons in the first two decades, but switched to the Internet as soon as it became available and affordable. While the method of delivery has changed, the message remains the same. Looking back and gleaning from these four decades of experience, we have the following to say:

Distance education is a relatively new concept in the world of education.

Initially the decreased cost of printing and highly reduced postage rates in some countries gave a big boost to correspondence courses.

Christians were one of the first to launch very large institutions that offered numerous correspondence courses via print medium.

This also became a good tool for evangelizing a large number of people with a small manpower.

The arrival of net-based free bible correspondence has resulted in a quantum jump in the number of people who are interested in these no tuition courses.

This in turn makes it possible for Christian institutions to offer theology, apologetics, and bible courses to a very large number of people worldwide.

This has the added advantage of reduced costs, reduced staff, increased speed, and worldwide ministry via theological distance education and training.
